Isimila
Stone Age Site:-
The
Isimila stone Age Site which is only 21kms South of Iringa
is the finest stone age sites in East Africa, at Isimila
once a shallow lake and now a dried up riverbed tools together
with bones of two extinct animals species were found here
believed to dateback 60,000 years.
Kalenga
Monument:-
The
place of the great chief Mkwawa, chief of Wahehe, where you can
find his skull, The chief who resisted colonial agreement he
fought against German troops and conquered leaving no life of
the enemy, there you will find lots of tools as well as weapons
including raw materials used to fabricate iron tools, and many
other attractions including guns
Ruaha
National Park:-
 The
Park is about 130 Km from M. R. hotel, it is the second largest
and the only unbeaten park in Tanzania having the area of 13,000
km sq.
This vast wilderness is rich in wildlife and contains a wide variety
that includes greater Kudu, Rhino and Sable Antelope, huge herds of elephant
and buffalo and an abundance of bird life. Over 465 bird species have
been sighted within the park, the exciting Great Ruaha River which is
the park life crossing through, features large number of Hippo and crocodiles.
